so, upgrade rides, and then follow the instructions below to fix the stray data entry.

note that to fix this problem, you must enter into the maintain (add/edit events) menu. you then simply exit the maintain menu. rides does several system checks when you enter into this menu, and this problem will be fixed.  you must however upgrade to the latest version of rides before you do the below steps.

 

 

the steps are:

simply enter into the above menu. you now can exit. your stray data item will be removed.
